Residential Electrician

Our residential customers are a major focus of our company. Customers are one of the main reasons Jason started his company. So many times we hear of private residents being treated like just a number; many times a contractor of any trade will take advantage of a residential customers’ lack of knowledge when it comes to construction. We not only want to be the premiere residential electrician people call when they need service, but a resource people can turn to when it comes to any home improvement.

Tillges Electric will do any electrical having to do with residential electrical service. We provide free estimates and usually ask for a 7-day turnaround to return written estimate. We will also complete jobs on a time & material basis – both options are upon agreement of the homeowner and Jason. For our customers with electrical issues we do respond to service calls (minimum service fees apply). For new residential construction or remodels electrical work, Jason has the ability to provide estimates from professional blueprints. Also, for our retired/active duty military personnel we offer a 10% discount for the labor portion of a completed job. A few specific services we provide for residential customers include but are not limited to the following:

We offer a 1 year warranty on all labor and material provided by Tillges Electric. Call us today for your free estimate!

A Word About Permits

Some customers have requested to not have permits pulled on jobs.  At Tillges Electric, if the job requires inspection according to Minnesota or Wisconsin law, as a residential/commercial electrician with integrity, we will pull a permit.  This policy not only protects us a company, but also the homeowner.  If an incident occurs on the property after the job is completed and no permits were pulled, it may not be covered under insurance.  Also, as a homeowner, you always want the contractor to pull a permit on a job when it is required. This ensures the contractor did their job correctly.  A homeowner should always be leery of a contractor claiming permits are not necessary.  A permit cost is usually minimal when compared to the entire cost of a job.  If you have more specific questions on this particular policy feel free to contact us.

I can’t say enough good things about Tillges Electric because they are so helpful and knowledgeable. They only have the the best quality products and make sure the job gets done correct!! I highly recommend them!
